Seaward is a group of companies established in 1986. It originally operated the Mediterranean fleets of several Scandinavian shipping companies. In the beginning of the 1990s, Seaward expanded its scope of services to include international corporate and tax consultancy for a broad spectrum of clients. Seaward was one of the first Cypriot service providers to set-up and manage holding and investment structures in Russia, and the NIS, on behalf of major U.S. investment funds, and in 1999 it became the first Cypriot service provider to list a foreign owned public company in Cyprus on the Cyprus Stock Exchange. While maintaining its traditional scope of services Seaward also sets-up and administers multi-jurisdictional corporate structures out of Cyprus.
In recent years, Seaward has expanded its services to cover the energy developments in Cyprus. In this context, Seaward provides advice regarding legal, financial, and government policy issues in connection to energy in general but with a special focus on matters relating to hydrocarbon exploration and ancillary industries.
